Tanlines - Gimli Manitoba
Chris Jackson checks out Gimli, Manitoba's 113th annual Icelandic Festival. He'll battle it out in the Islandingadunk -- a Viking show of brute strength and balance. Then he'll try one of the festival's more contemporary games --Frisnock. After working up an appetite, Chris tastes some Icelandic specialties and then takes in some Nordic Folk music on the main stage. In the evening he attends a schmooze fest aboard the Black Hawk, to meet some of the filmmakers in town for the Gimli Film
