Super Friends: Wonder Woman and Rima
The All-New Super Friends Hour introduced super hero guest stars in 1977. Rima, the heroine of Victorian literature was adapted by DC Comics in a comic book series 'Rima the Jungle Girl' in 1974. Rima first appeared in the adventure novel, 'Green Mansions: A Romance of the Tropical Forest', published in 1904 by Argentine-British writer WH Hudson. Hudson based Rima on the South American legend about a lost tribe of white people who lived in the mountains. This cartoon, 'The River of Doom'
