Members of the Mbini self-help group (SHG) in Machakos checking out their crude water tank to which them pump water up to from a nearby river to water their crops. Being a dry region, the farm will not grow without irrigation and the group currently lacks the capital to expand the 4-acres they currently plant and pump water for their oranges, avocado, vegetables, maize.
