The Tubbataha reefs, in the center of the Sulu Sea, are one of the richest areas of marine bio-diversity in the world. This reef has one of the largest assemblages of marine life Per unit area in the world. The reef has been declared a National Marine Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
